The application of this knowledge has allowed the company to successfully purchase and overhaul commercial properties throughout California. These properties have gained substantial values as a direct result of conservative financial practices and the utilization of in-house talent.
Michael Halper founded ATC Partners, LLC in 1992 and currently serves as its chief executive and managing partner. Mr. Halper has more than 15 years of experience in investment and development. Prior to forming ATC, he was a principal for industrial development with the Trammell Crow Company. Mr. Halper was graduated from the University of California, Berkeley and he received an MBA from Stanford University in 1988.
Tom Keane serves as ATC’s chief operating officer with overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the company’s assets, including leasing and marketing, construction and asset management. Prior to joining ATC in 1997, Mr. Keane served as president of the Reilly Group, a San Francisco-based owner and operator of commercial office buildings. Mr. Keane is a graduate of Holy Cross College in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Emily Benton serves as the portfolio analyst and transaction coordinator for ATC’s sales and acquisitions operation. Prior to joining ATC Partners in January 2004, Ms. Benton worked as a property administrator for CB Richard Ellis. She received a bachelor's degree from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
Bill Gerhardt serves as Vice President of Asset Management with responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the real estate portfolio including the oversight of capital improvement projects. Prior to joining ATC in 2006, Mr. Gerhardt served in various strategy and finance roles at First Franklin Financial, Mitchell Madison Group and Booz Allen & Hamilton. Mr. Gerhardt earned a degree in Quantitative Economics from the University of California, San Diego and received an MBA from Stanford University in 1995.
Brian Brown is a marketing and leasing specialist for ATC’s Bay Area portfolio, responsible for tenant development and retention. He joined the firm in 2006 after graduating from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California. Mr. Brown is a licensed California real estate agent.
Chris Ohman is the marketing and leasing specialist for ATC’s South Bay portfolio. Prior to joining ATC Partners in 2006, he worked as a commercial real estate agent with Wayne Mascia Associates in Santa Clara. Mr. Ohman is a licensed California real estate agent.
Nina Phan is the marketing and leasing specialist for ATC’s South Bay portfolio, responsible for tenant development and retention. Prior to joining the firm in 2007, Ms. Phan spent her time in re- finance and traveling as much as possible. Ms. Phan is a graduate from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California.
